  • TVET - Policy Dialogue Meeting

    On the occasion of the 3rd Regional TVET Conference in Vientiane, Lao PDR, high-ranking TVET representatives of participating countries held a Policy Dialog Meeting (PDM) on December 15, 2105 at the conference venue, Don Chan Palace Hotel.

    The different panel sessions reflected the challenges the ASEAN region will face in regard of the upcoming AEC from the different perspectives and gave recommendations on future development for TVET in the region.
  • Welcome Remarks

    The third Regional TVET Conference was jointly opened by Mr. Thomas Silberhorn, Parliamentary State Secretary to the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), And Dr. Phankham Viphavanh, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education and Sports from Lao PDR.
  • Welcome Reception

    The Welcome Reception for the 3rd Regional TVET Conference took place on Sunday, December 13th 2015, at the Don Chan Palace Hotel.
  • Exhibition

    Parallel to the conference an exhibition was organized – therefore, companies active in the field of TVET had the opportunity to create a presence with an exhibit space. Additional organisations like the Lao Disabled Women Development Organisation took part at the Exhibition and had the possibility to introduce their handmade products.
  • Press Conference

    The press conference of the Regional TVET Conference 2015 took place at the Lao-German Technical College on Sunday, 13th of December. The spoke persons, Prof. Dr Kongsy Sengmany, Vice Minister of Education and Sports of Lao PDR, and Mr. Thomas Silberhorn, Parliamentary State Secretary to the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), provided interesting insights in the field of TVET in the ASEAN region to the Lao journalists.
